Tiger King star Joe Exotic is begging Donald Trump to pardon him from prison.
Joe submitted a 257-page case, which included a letter to Donald Trump Jr., where he begs to be released from his 22-year prison sentence for allegedly hiring an assassin to kill his nemesis, Carole Baskin.
“I have been sexually assaulted by jail staff, beat up and tied in a chair to the point the skin came off my arms,” Joe wrote in his letter to Trump’s son. “Please be my hero. My hands are damaged from the abuse in jail, so I’m sorry for the soppy writing and spelling.”
In the end, he wrote, “#TrumpJr.2024.”
In his request to Donald Trump, seen by TMZ, he writes,” Allow me to make you proud, to make America proud, to make the world proud. Be my hero, please.”
Joe Exotic is scheduled to be released from prison in 2037, but he says he won’t make it that long because he is anemic and has other health issues.
He also defends himself against the claims he tried to kill Carole Baskin, calling his threats to her “hyperbole.”
His lawyers say in the documents that Joe’s threats were “simply another aspect of his showmanship. Joe’s jokes, at most, in bad taste, were merely jokes.”
Joe says he was convicted because of an anti-gay movement and adds that he’s been “railroaded and betrayed” by Jeff Lowe and the judge who sentenced him.
He does admit to shooting some sick tigers but said he only did it as a humane way to euthanize them.
Joe’s team is expected to take his pardon application to Washington, D.C., where Eric Love will hand it over to someone he knows in The White House, TMZ reports.
