Joe Exotic of Netflix’s Tiger King is currently serving 22-sentence due to a contract killing scheme against his nemesis. Back in March, the Tiger King filed a federal lawsuit against several parties, including the feds, claiming he was targeted and convicted based on false and perjured testimony.
But now, according to TMZ, Joe Exotic has filed even more legal documents, this time, requesting a new judge in his civil case amid claims that Judge Scott Palk has a “tainted view” of him.
In court paperwork accessed by TMZ, Joe reveals that Judge Palk has “already presided over other civil cases Joe’s been involved in over the years,” which includes more than just what viewers witnessed on the Netflix series.
Joe Exotic also expressed that Judge Palk is biased due to him being an animal rights activist and homophobic, which is an issue because Joe is openly gay with a husband.
He also insisted that the judge often throws accusations at him and is “hostile” and “agitated” during proceedings.
“I will make sure you are never around another animal the rest of your life,” Joe claimed the judge said to him, adding, “You were trying to broker a pair of lions to support your husband from jail.”
According to TMZ, Joe Exotic said the judge’s claims are not only untrue, but they’re illegal as well, as he implied Judge Palm has it out for him. So, the Tiger King is demanding a new judge.
