Joe Jackson Suffers Three Heart Attacks While In The Hospital

After being hospitalized in Sao Paolo following a stroke Sunday morning, reports say Joe Jackson has suffered at least 3 heart attacks and has had to undergo pacemaker surgery. 

A publicist for the 87 year old says that Jackson’s vision loss symptom on Sunday was due to a burst artery behind his eye. This triggered his stroke.  The publicist also says that while at the hospital, Joe’s heart stop beating for at least 10 seconds. Doctors have inserted a pacemaker and will continue to monitor him to see if his condition stabilizes. 

Joe Jackson remains in Brazil, where he has been for the past few days celebrating his birthday. 

Family members want Jackson to return to the US for treatment, but at this point his health is too uncertain to travel.
