John Amos’ son has been arrested for sending threatening texts with images of guns to John’s daughter amid an ongoing family dispute over the Good Times actor’s health.
The actor’s son, K.C., was arrested recently after his sister, Shannon, accused him of sending her threatening texts that made her fear for her life, as per the documents obtained by TMZ.
According to Shannon’s statement to the West Orange, NJ police, her brother sent her text messages about his alleged gang affiliations and images of a handgun and a rifle. She further alleges that he sent her a video of himself firing a gun in an open field and included the message, “Gonna sleep much better tonight, big sis.”
Shannon reported to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office that her brother, K.C., has bipolar disorder, causing him to believe she hired someone to harm him. The situation has raised concerns about potential retaliation due to this belief.
In a previous report, it was mentioned that Shannon initiated a GoFundMe campaign for her father, John, alleging that he has been a victim of elder abuse. Nevertheless, John denied his daughter’s claims, expressing uncertainty about why she started the fundraiser.
Following the dispute, Shannon declared that K.C. could no longer make medical decisions for John. She also sent him a cease and desist letter in response to his online comments about her.
