Washington Wizards Guard John Wall has had an unfortunate last few weeks in his career with injuries; however, he isn’t taking the downtime off the court for granted.
Wall, who recently ruptured his Achilles and is expected to miss 12 months while in rehab and recovery, made the decision to complete the course work he left behind in 2010 when he was drafted into the NBA. Within the year he’ll spend off the court, the Wizards star says he intends to use that time finishing out his degree. He did the same last year and now, this time will bring him close to graduating.
According to ‘The Athletic’s’ Fred Katz, Wall says “he’s going to use the time off from the injury as an opportunity to finish college. Said he’s close to graduation.”
Congratulations to John Wall on furthering his education and proving that the glass is always full!
