Camille Vasquez, the attorney who helped Johnny Depp win his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, has reportedly stopped working with Ye, formerly Kanye West, due to his anti-Semitic remarks.
TMZ reports Vasquez informed her firm that she is no longer willing to work with the hip-hop and fashion mogul less than a week after she was hired to handle his business matters.
And while the firm, Brown Rudnick, is willing to work with the billionaire rapper under the condition he retracts his statements, the Yeezy CEO refuses to back down.
Friday night at his daughter North’s basketball game, Ye said at an impromptu press conference, “I want to talk about the Jewish comment, it’s actually proven the exact point that I made.”
“It’s going to take all of us to come together. We gotta get the truth before we can get the love, if not we are just loving the lies.”
Companies like Balenciaga and JPMorgan Chase have also already ended their relationships with West. Just Monday, it was reported that talent agency CAA cut ties with Ye this month after he would “go death con 3 on Jewish people” and continued to make comments about Jewish people in interviews that followed.
