The Jonathan Majors trial is getting more disturbing, especially with the unveiling of new evidence documenting his alleged abuse.
The “Creed III” star is on trial for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. In one recorded conversation, Majors chastises Jabbari for getting drunk with friends. He then suggests she be more like Coretta Scott King and Michelle Obama, the wives of prominent figures Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and President Barack Obama.
“I’m a great man, a great man. I am doing great things not just for me but for my culture and for the world,” he told Jabbari, adding, “The woman that supports me, that I support needs to be a great woman and make sacrifices the way that man is making for her and for them ultimately.”

Additionally, text messages obtained by Entertainment Tonight show Majors trying to persuade Jabbari not to seek medical attention for a head injury that was seemingly sustained during an altercation between the two in September 2022.
“I fear you have no perspective of what could happen if you go to the hospital. They will ask you questions, and as I don’t think you actually protect us, it could lead to an investigation even if you do lie and they suspect something,” Majors explained to Jabbari. She responded by coming up with a plan to tell doctors that she bumped her head. In part, Jabbari stated, “Why would I want to tell them what really happened when it’s clear I want to be with you.”
Though these messages were months before the altercation in March 2023, they seemingly demonstrated a pattern, which included emotional abuse. At one point, Majors threatened to kill himself after allegedly abusing Jabbari. Also included in the evidence was a video showing Majors trying to force Jabbari into a vehicle. When she refused to get in, Majors took off running, with Jabbari chasing close behind him.
