Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison’s DUI case has been settled, according to his attorney. The third-year receiver faced a trial stemming from his July 2024 arrest and ultimately pleaded to a lesser offense, which requires him to pay a fine and serve probation, according to his agent, as first reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
It was reported that Addison pleaded to “wet recklessness,” a reduced charge. His agent, Tim Younger, announced today that Addison has been participating in classes and MADD events to demonstrate his remorse.
“Over the past year, he voluntarily participated in MADD events and programs and, after reflection, decided to enter this plea to understand the ramifications of this decision,” Younger announced in a post on Twitter, formerly known as Twitter. “He has kept the organization apprised throughout these legal proceedings, and will continue in his full commitment to being a valuable member of his team.”
Today , after careful consideration of the charges against him and all defenses, Jordan Addison decided to plead to a lesser included vehicular offense, commonly referred to as a “wet reckless.” As a result, Mr. Addison will pay a standard fine and complete two online courses…

It was reported by CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones that the next step in the process for Addison is determining the length of his suspension to start the NFL season, expected to be three games, even though he pleaded to a lesser charge.
Addison finished last season with 63 receptions, 875 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns. The Vikings—and, most importantly, one of the best receivers in the league, Justin Jefferson, will miss him the most, as defenses will likely have an easier time game-planning for the team during the potential three-week absence to start the season.
