The murder of Nipsey Hussle has left the world mourning, including Cleveland Cavaliers player, Jordan Clarkson, who is calling for the end of Black on Black violence.
This past Sunday, news broke that Nipsey was fatally shot, which prompted an immediate outcry from his fans around the world. In frustration, Clarkson expressed his feelings during a club party. “N****s killed my motherf**kin’ uncle, n****. F**k that. Why we doin’ this s**t? Why we doing it? Why we killing each other? Why we killing black people, n****?” He continued, “Why the f**k we doing that s**t? Why we hating on all the black people, that’s successful? F**k that s**t. That’s my motherf**kin’ uncle,” Clarkson yelled to the crowd.
Clarkson went to the International Boutique Nightclub on Sunday night just hours after his game on Sunday night. Clarkson played for the Lakers from 2014 to 2018 and was very close with Nipsey, according to TMZ. “I bang with all the sets. you got me f**ked up n****. Real talk, n****, that’s on gang. Don’t f**k with that s**t, bro, real talk,” he added.
Nipsey was shot on Sunday in front of clothing store The Marathon Clothing in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The rapper was immediately transferred to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. He was 33.
Many celebrities including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, 21 Savage and more have shared their condolences.
