Jordan Craig may not say much about her ex, Tristan Thompson, online, but she is certainly letting him have it in court.
The What Jordy Wore founder has slammed Thompson in newly unveiled court documents for owing a staggering $224,000 in child support. The large amount is for their six-year-old son, Prince. Craig’s claims against Thompson come just weeks after her sister called out Kim Kardashian, who declared Thompson was a great and active father to his children with Khloe Kardashian.
It seems that the case has been going on for quite a while. According to the court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Craig filed her claim in September. In 2019, Thompson had agreed to pay $40,000 a month. Craig outlined Thompson’s shortcomings, arguing that in November 2022, she was only given $20,000 for their son. The following month, Thompson paid the full $40k, but in January 2023, Craig says she received zero support. Then, from February to July 2023, Thompson only sent monthly child support of $14,500, clearly creating his own financial plan for their son. In August 2023, Thompson once again increased the payment to $29,000, which was still below the agreed-upon amount.
The situation has become so dire that Craig is now asking a judge to garnish Thompson’s wages from the Cleveland Cavaliers, who re-signed him this year to a $2.7 million annual contract. However, when he and Craig first reached their child support agreement, Thompson was making over $17 million from the team. He also has more children to support now, with two from Khloe and a son from Maralee Nichols, whom Thompson also pays $10,000 monthly.
Craig’s case has yet to reach a ruling, though with Thompson’s decrease in income, it’s likely their previous arrangement may be altered.
