The Kardashian family may be praising Tristan Thompson for being a great parent, but a relative of his son, Prince, says otherwise.
By now, we’ve all seen the clips from the recent episode of “The Kardashians,” where Kim K told Thompson he was a “good friend and such a good dad.” The compliment may have been kind, but Prince and his mother, Jordan Craig, are having a different experience with Thompson. Her sister, Kai, is now slamming Thompson for neglecting his oldest son. According to her lengthy Instagram post, Thompson does not spend time with Prince at all but is frequently with the two children he shares with Khloe Kardashian, True and Tatum.
“It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince. The fact that he can take other children to school and activities in the same city, yet never sees or speaks to his own son, unless it’s for a party or planned photo opportunity, is appalling and inexcusable,” Kai wrote.

This is not the first time Thompson has been called out for being an absent father. Maralee Nichols, the mother of his one-year-old son, Theo, has said Thompson never met their child and doesn’t appear interested in doing so. He reportedly pays her $9,500 a month in child support, while Craig receives about $40,000 monthly. Despite rendering financial aid to the women, he does not have the most personal relationship with the children, which is unfortunate.
Kai also slammed Kim, alluding to her knowing of the situation and still treating Thompson like Father of the Year.
“That’s nice if he’s been a good friend to you, but let’s consider our sisters before taking to global platforms to defend this man’s character,” Kai added.
The Kardashians nor Thompson have not responded to Kai’s post. Craig has also remained tightlipped on the subject.
