As the Kardashian Klan took to the desert for Kanye West’s Easter Sunday Service, Jordyn Woods, former family-friend of the famous family, took to the motherland to celebrate the cultural exchange between Africa and the World at the Homecoming festival in Nigeria.
As part of Woods’ collaboration, the socialite took part in a panel discussion, which focused on self-love and care. In fact, she also opened up about being a victim of bullying in the wake of the Tristan Thompson scandal and shared how the incident has helped her teach her sister how to shine bright through the shade and public scrutiny.
“My little sister was bullied in school,” Woods said in a video, as she explained to her sister that “If I was bullied by the world,” she, too, could overcome her toughest battles. “I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman – in just society and how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have to live it.”
Although Woods has been keeping a low profile since the drama between the Woods and the Kardashians, she made it clear that despite the controversy, her best friend, Kylie Jenner, will always have a special place in her heart.
“I have love for everyone. ALways,” Woods said, as her mother followed up with: “We love Kylie always. We love you, Kylie.”
