Jordyn Woods continues to make moves after her split from the Kardashians, and now she has her sights set on a music career.
After showing off her secret talent on The Masked Singer as the Kangaroo, Jordyn said she’s planning to release an album by the end of 2020 once the coronavirus lockdowns are over.
“I have not been able to get to the studio. But as soon as everything clears up and we can leave again, and I can get to the studio, that is as soon as you guys will get [an album],” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Hopefully, before the end of 2020. And I’m talking, like, as soon as possible.”
The 22-year-old said that music is “more of a passion project,” and she has no plans to sign with a label. But, instead, she wants to be an entrepreneur and create her own.
“I’m going to most likely start my own label and be signed under myself rather than going to a label,” she said. “The possibilities are endless.”
She also opened up about her biggest motivation and explained how Jaden Smith was one of the first to push her to pursue the idea.
“Jaden’s been one of my biggest motivators from the beginning,’ she said Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s son.”Last year, when I was just in the house, I started writing and teaching myself how to play the piano, and he’s one of the first people that was like, ‘Jordyn, where’s the album?’ And this was before I even went on the show or anything.”
