Joseline Hernandez could face time behind bars after being hit with additional charges stemming from her viral Big Lex beatdown.
The “Love & Hip-Hop” alum has been charged with two counts of battery against a law enforcement officer, Local 10 News reports. If you recall, after Hernandez brutally battered the Big Lex Baddie Collection founder, she then turned her attention to police officers who were trying to diffuse the situation. Video shows her violently swinging at the deputies and hurling multiple slurs at them before they took her down to the ground. As they struggled to escort her to the awaiting police vehicle, she could be seen continuing to shove, kick and scream at them.
Hernandez was arraigned on Thursday. In addition to her two new charges, she still faces felony battery, trespassing, and resisting an officer with violence in relation to the June 12th brawl in Miami after the Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III match.
Hernandez and Lex have a long history of turmoil. As a previous cast member of “Joseline’s Cabaret,” Lex went viral for her “double homicide” comment on the show as she trained to be in the cabaret. However, the ladies had a falling out due to Lex’s treatment during that experience. Once filming wrapped, Lex partnered with the upcoming platform, Now That’s TV, for her own competition series. While both women appeared to be bossing up in their own right, their feud continued.
Lex has remained absent from social media following the fight. Hernandez has not said much about the situation. However, during a “Breakfast Club” interview shortly after, the Puerto Rican Princess claimed that she was protecting herself.
