The “Puerto Rican Princess” Joseline Hernandez has fired back at her baby daddy and former ‘LHHATL’ co-star Stevie J after his attempt to gain custody of their daughter, Bonnie Bella.
As previously reported, Stevie sued Joseline for primary custody, arguing that she was purposely keeping him out of their daughter’s life. He accused Joseline of being financially and mentally unstable and said his home with new wife, Faith Evans, would be more loving and safe for Bonnie Bella.
According to court documents obtained by BOSSIP, Joseline said Stevie should be paying her more child support instead of trying to “take the child from the only home the child has known.” Now, the reality star is countersuing, asserting that she’s a great mom to Bonnie Bella and if anything, her child support should be increased.
Joseline said she’s complied with the terms of their current custody order and has never kept Bonnie Bella away from Stevie. She also reportedly denied moving to Miami to live with a man she was dating.
Although, Joseline did admit that her income has significantly decreased since she left “Love & Hip Hop,” she says that it’s crazy to believe Stevie would be a better parent to Bonnie. She also said if he’s concerned about Joseline not being able to provide for their child, the judge should make him pay 20% of his income in child support.
In a statement from court documents, Joseline said Stevie’s claim that having more money would allow him to give Bonnie a better life was “an insult to every single mother in the country.
Both parents are scheduled to appear in court next week.
