Back in August, Amar’e Stoudemire was hit with a lawsuit that claimed he fathered a child outside of his marriage. At the time, 36-year-old Quynn Lovett filed a suit in Florida, demanding permanent child support, $11k in maternity bills and full custody of baby, Zoe Renee. However, the baller fired back, saying he’d already been paying a monthly stipend for the baby, in addition to more than $20k in legal fees from her initial lawsuit in Massachusetts, which was eventually dismissed.

Now, just three months later, there’s been a new development in the paternity case. According to Bossip, a Florida family court judge has ruled in favor of Lovett, signing off on docs that name Stoudemire as the father of baby Zoe.

“Amar’e Stoudemire is found to be the natural and biological father of the minor child,” the judgment read, which was issued last month.

According to the publication, Stoudemire and Lovett also worked out a custody and child support agreement in a confidential settlement. In the meantime, Stoudemire’s wife of nearly six years seems to be handling the news pretty well, as both parties were seen wearing their wedding rings in recent pics, Bossip reports.
