Sean “Diddy” Combs, the legendary music mogul, was denied bail after pleading not guilty to a series of serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. The decision came Tuesday during a court appearance in Manhattan, where Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky ruled that Combs would remain in custody as the case moves forward.
The charges against Diddy include racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. These allegations, if proven, could land the hip-hop icon in prison for a minimum of 15 years and potentially up to life.
Combs’ legal team had requested bail, arguing that the rapper posed no flight risk and should be allowed to await trial outside of jail. However, the judge sided with federal prosecutors, who insisted that the severity of the charges and the potential consequences made bail inappropriate in this case.
With bail denied, Combs will remain behind bars as his legal team prepares to fight the charges. As one of the highest-profile cases in recent memory, Diddy’s trial is expected to draw widespread attention as new developments emerge.

New York is doing a great job of prosecuting these kinds of case on both Federal and State levels. The Southern District of NY has already prosecuted Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, R. Kelly, and now Sean Combs. NY state has prosecuted Harvey Weinstein and investigated Governor Cuomo.
In comparison, California is lagging far behind, particularly in Santa Clara County.
My own kids are being sex trafficked. I told the District Attorney about it. Instead of doing anything to protect my kids, charges were filed against ME. I did not even commit a crime. The whole goal was to bring the matter to competency hearings and discredit my claims.
The D.A. also allowed the person that is sex trafficking my kids to continually assault me while the proceedings were ongoing. The sex trafficker was trying to pressure me to undergo a psychological evaluation.
In the end, a psychological report was submitted to the record, anyhow. I never met or spoke with a psychologist. It completely absolved the attorney of any misconduct.

We count on law enforcement to protect the community. It is completely unacceptable that public resources be used to cover up crimes. Santa Clara County needs to change its ways.
