Dr. Dre‘s estranged wife Nicole Young has been denied a restraining order.
According to Yahoo! News, a judge has denied Young’s request for an emergency restraining order against her estranged husband, music mogul Dr. Dre. Additionally, the judge asked Young to provide proof of why she would need the restraining order.
In court documents, which The Blast has obtained, Young requested that the court order Dre to stay 100 years away from their Malibu home where she lives. On top of that, Young asked that Dre be ordered to refrain from contacting her, whether it be through email, texts, or in-person visits, the outlet reports.
The music exec and mogul claims he hasn’t tried to contact her and has not been in contact with her since January when she visited him in the hospital after he suffered a brain aneurysm. However, Young says she’s been receiving death threats from his fans.
In February, Dre’s lawyer Laura Wasser requested a five-day trial to investigate Young and Dre’s prenuptial agreement’s logistics and manner. Young has maintained that she did sign the prenup, but she says it was only because she was forced to do so, and she now regrets signing the document.
Yahoo! News reports Young wants $2 million per month in temporary spousal support. Both parties will be able to share their testimony in an upcoming hearing.
