Judge Denies Jesse Williams’ Motion For A New Trial Over Monthly $50k Child Support Payments

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams will have to cough up $50,000 a month in child support after his attempt to get a new trial in the case against his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, was denied.

Back in June, as part of the former couple’s divorce case, the actor was ordered to fork over $50,000 per month in child support with an additional $50k in spousal support, based on his monthly half-a-million dollar check, the Blast reports.

One month later, Williams filed new docs, requesting a new trial over the child support payment, as he believed there wasn’t enough evidence to prove the large amount made sense.

But now, two months after the initial order, the judge in the divorce case has denied Williams’ motion, shooting down his attempt to lower his monthly payment.
