Tuesday, Tory Lanez attended a Los Angeles courthouse hearing in the Megan Thee Stallion felony assault case.
According to Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillion, Judge David Herriford heard nearly an hour of argument regarding the “Say It” artist’s tweets and said some seem to be “clear messages” to Meg.
The tweets in question reportedly were from the February Twitter back and forth between Tory, Megan and Pardi following Lanez’s last hearing date.
The judge ruled that Lanez had violated his protective and personal contact order in the case. Dillion reports that the rapper was handcuffed in court and remanded to custody until he posts new bail of $350,000.
The judge also added a new condition to Lanez’s release that he’s “not to mention the complaining witness in this case in any social media.”
The trial date is reportedly set for September 14.
