After a hung jury resulted in a mistrial, a new date has been set for Bill Cosby to return to court. The new trial has been scheduled for November 6, 2017, at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
In June, after 52 hours of deliberations spanning over six days, a judge declared a mistrial after jurors were unable to decide unanimously whether or not Cosby was guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004. At the time, District Attorney Kevin Steele vowed to try Cosby again. Judge Steven O’Neill signed off on the order on Thursday.
