Juelz Santana has been issued a $33,000 lien over unpaid house bills.
Santana, 38, is currently serving time behind bars over his attempt to bring a gun onto a plane. He pleaded guilty to two felonies: possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon and trying to bring a loaded gun onto a plane. According to Bossip, the rapper has been accused of neglecting to pay his maintenance fees on his $650,000 condominium in Northern New Jersey.
The Courts of Glenpointe Condominium Association say it’s been two years since Santana paid his $1,041 a month homeowner’s association fees, and now they want the court to get them their money. The total debt comes out to $33,557. He owes $18,099 for unpaid fees from July 2018 through March 2020. He also has a $9,375 payment due for “accelerated” maintenance fees through the end of the year, the outlet reports.
Santana is set to be released from federal prison in Virginia in February 2021. The rapper purchased the home for his family back in 2005. A judge has yet to make a decision on the lien, and no lawyer has been listed for him as of July 27. In the midst of all that, Julez’s wife, Kimbella agreed to move out of their separate New Jersey mansion after Chase Bank accused the Santana family of “illegally taking possession” of the property and refusing to exit the home after the bank bought it in 2018 at a foreclosure auction.
