On Sunday, Juice Wrld passed away after suffering from cardiac arrest following a flight from California to Chicago. Upon arrival, the rapper reportedly swallowed a handful of painkillers in an attempt to hide them from police.
According to TMZ, Juice Wrld’s private jet pilot reportedly told ground officials that the rapper and his team had guns, which is prohibited in air travel. As a result, the rapper reportedly made the decision to swallow several Percocet pills, which sources say may have led to his untimely death.
On Monday, officials conducted an autopsy, but additional testing for toxicology, cardiac pathology and neuropathology was requested to determine an official cause of death, the publication reports.
As a result of the incident, two of the rapper’s security guards were arrested for gun possession.
