Daughters Of Hip Hop Icons Notorious B.I.G. And Jam Master Jay Are Opening A New York-Style Pizzeria In Los Angeles

The daughters of Hip Hop icons Notorious B.I.G. and Jam Master Jay are coming together to open a New York-style pizzeria in Los Angeles.

Biggie’s daughter T’yanna Wallace and Jay’s daughter Tyra Myrick are opening a New York-style pizza spot named Juicy Pizza. Foodies will be able to enjoy various types of pizzas will ingredients, including cheese, pepperoni, bacon, jerk chicken, chopped egg rolls, and more.

The ladies had already been colleagues, but they wanted to start a business and provide L.A. with some New York influence. “The more I thought about how to bring that New York theme to Los Angeles, I felt, who represents New York more than Biggie Smalls?.” Myricks told Business Insider that she felt there wasn’t any “good pizza in Los Angeles.”

The establishment will celebrate New York culture by implementing elements like bodegas, subway cars, and Biggie’s hit song “Juicy” will also be featured on the restaurant’s playlist.

June 12 is when Juicy Pizza will open its doors. A slice of pizza will be $4 to $5, and an entire pie will run about $23 to $30.
