Julian Horton didn’t chase success; he believed it was already his.
In his recent appearance on The Baller Alert Show, the actor and multitalented creative opened up about his mindset and how faith shaped his journey.
“I always knew I was going to make it,” Horton said. “But the reason why I was never desperate to make it…I already knew God’s the greatest thing we can get in this life. If you know God’s the greatest thing you can get in this life, you don’t yearn for nothing.”
He shared how this belief allowed him to release the pressure of chasing fame.
“Now you can let things come to you easily and more efficient,” he said. “Because you’re not so damn, ‘Oh, I got to get it.'”
His vision was clear from a young age: “I was four years old when I said, ‘I’m going to play in the NFL. I’m going to be in movies. I’m going to act, and I’m going to make music.'”
Now at 33, Horton sees that early vision becoming reality.
It’s like, be 33…doing the s**t that I said I was going to do at four..it’s because I had that thought, God’s the greatest,” the “Beauty and Black” star explained.
