Jury Awards Vanessa Bryant $16 Million Over Kobe Bryant Crash Photos

The jury has ruled in favor of Vanessa Bryant in the lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff and Fire Departments.

After more than three hours of deliberation, the jury found Los Angeles County Sheriff and Fire Departments liable for infringing on the constitutional rights of Vanessa Bryant and Co-Plaintiff Christopher Chester. They each lost a spouse and a daughter in January 2020.

Vanessa Bryant was awarded $16 million, and Christopher Chester was awarded $15 million.

According to CNN, Bryant hugged her attorneys and embraced her daughter Natalia as she cried while proceeding to exit the courtroom.

Bryant has not made any statements regarding the verdict.
