The Jussie Smollett saga appears to be never-ending at this point, and now new details about his alleged sexual relationship with one of his fake attackers have emerged.

On Wednesday, an anonymous insider revealed to Page Six that Smollett and his purported ‘attacker’ Abel Osundairo were engaged in a sexual relationship at the time of the hoax attack, which Abel and his brother Ola helped Smollett orchestrate. The source also claims that the two lovers frequented an upscale Chicago bathhouse together.

“They used to party together, and he [Smollett] had a sexual relationship with [Osundairo]. They went to this affluent Chicago bathhouse multiple times, and they had to show ID. It’s known as a bathhouse where a lot of affluent black gay men hang out,” the source claimed.

Adding insult to injury, the insider further claimed that there are likely still records of the pair’s presence in the establishment, and says those records could be seized as part of Smollett’s upcoming trial on felony disorderly conduct charges.

Both Abel and Ola, who hail from Nigeria, which has strict laws against homosexuality, have dispelled any talk that either of them are gay.

Last year, Smollett’s lawyers, Tina Glandian and Mark Geragos, insinuated during a Good Morning America interview that there may have been a sexual relationship between Smollett and Abel. In response to this interview, the Osundairo brothers sued the lawyers for defamation on the grounds that comments such as theirs could place them at serious risk in Nigeria, where homosexuality is punishable by up to 14 years in jail. The defamation suit was later dismissed.

If you recall, back in January of last year, the ‘Empire’ star claimed to have been attacked by two masked MAGA supporters during a cold night in Chicago. At the time, Smollett claimed that the men poured bleach on him, called him racist and homophobic slurs, and tied a noose around his neck. However, after an intense investigation, police found that Abel Osundairo and his brother, Ola, were paid $3,500 each to stage the attack in an elaborate hoax to boost his celebrity status.

Smollett was charged with lying to police before the case was ultimately dropped. He was indicted again in February of this year on six counts relating to making four false police reports following an investigation by a special prosecutor, according to the Daily Mail.
