Justin Bieber may fear his truths coming to light.
The pop star has recently opened up about his internal struggles, sharing his thoughts on self-reflection and mental health with fans. On May 9th, Bieber posted a series of Instagram updates, acknowledging his imperfections and the selfish moments he grapples with. In one post, he admitted, “The truth is, I wake up every morning. Some days I’m optimistic. Sometimes I wake up pessimistic.”
Bieber reflected on his tendency to “blame God” rather than seek a “change of perspective,” adding, “Once again it’s Easier to point the finger than it is to take ownership.” He recognized that it’s easy to criticize others, saying, “It’s easy to say damn their [sic] greedy rather than to check the greed in their own hearts.”
In his Instagram Stories, Bieber confessed a fear of being “exposed” for his flaws but concluded on a positive note, emphasizing the freedom that comes with honesty. “The more honest I am about where I really am, the more freedom I actually have,” he wrote.
This vulnerability might be influenced by his new role as a father, with the singer spending time with his 8-month-old son, Jack Blues, alongside his wife Hailey.
