Juvenile is the latest to speak out on the controversy surrounding Lil Wayne not being chosen for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.

The rapper hit social media, holding nothing back. Instead of targeting any artists or performers, Juvenile aimed straight at the NFL.

“So, everybody want me to speak on this Super Bowl situation,” he started, clearly frustrated. “Look, I’m mad about the situation just like y’all, man. But my hatred is toward the NFL. Not really the people who booked the halftime show. I’m mad at the people who hired the motherfuckers who booked the halftime show.”

Juvenile didn’t sugarcoat anything, calling out the NFL for never giving New Orleans’ own hip-hop scene the spotlight during the biggest sports event of the year.

“Y’all booked 11 Super Bowls in New Orleans. Y’all have yet to put a hip-hop act from New Orleans on the damn Super Bowl.” He went on to say, “I feel like every time y’all come here, y’all should put somebody from our city on the show.”

What really hit home for Juvenile this time was seeing Lil Wayne, one of the city’s biggest icons, left off the lineup. “How the fuck y’all don’t have Lil Wayne doing the halftime show?” he questioned, echoing what many fans have been saying.

He then took aim at NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, urging him to “get it right” and give Wayne his flowers. He described Wayne as “somebody who can bring out multiple artists from all genres.”
