As a singer, no one can deny K. Michelle’s powerful voice and immense talent. As a person, some people feel she has left much to be desired. Will the reveal of new details regarding her relationship with Mickey “Memphitz” Wright make matters worse?
You may recall, while K. Michelle starred on the debut season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, she made several accusations that Memphitz brutally beat her. She even went as far as to attack he and his wife Toya on social media. The claims of domestic abuse have been denied by HitZ from the beginning. Now Bossip learns exclusively that Memphitz was right, he didn’t beat her at all.
Hitz took K. Michelle to court over the defaming allegations that he was an abuser. He’s suing K, Viacom Intenational, Mona Scott Young’s Monami Entertainment and NFGTV, Inc . In a recent deposition K. Michelle made a shocking admission. In her deposition K says that Memphitz didn’t punch her as she originally claimed. She said she did not have a black eye as she lead many to believe. She did say she had a bleeding cut/scrape and carpet burn from crawling and being dragged, but then said that Hitz only hit her with a water bottle. She says that the cut bled, but wasn’t a lot. She said she had no bruises but was sore the next day as if she had an extensive work out.
When Memphitz’ lawyer asked K. Michelle about an alleged text message K says Hitz saying that he was going to kill her son, K didn’t answer that directly either. When asked she answered that it was “her belief” that he was threatening to harm her son.
Lastly, she does admit to Memphitz paying for her plastic surgery, but not all of it. When asked, K admitted that “Hitz Committee” paid for her breast implants and veneers, they did not pay for her butt augmentation. According to K, she paid for that herself and it had it done “the drag queen way” and doesn’t have proof of payment. Drag Queen Way = back alley butt injections, basically.
According to Bossip K Michelle also mentions an incident where she and So So Def singer Dondria went to Hitz’ house and vandalized it by “ripping up flowers out the ground” they then honked horn of a car while calling him an abuser. K also continues to mention a man named Glen Delgado who can corroborate her story. In the lawsuit Hitz maintains that Delgado can corroborate his case instead.
Read some of the court docs below. To say I’m shocked would be a lie. K. Michelle has always kind of twisted the truth to fit her. I could tell when I listened to her interview on The Breakfast Club most recently that she “adjusts the truth” for her benefit.
