Earlier this week, popular content creators Kai Cenat and MrBeast teamed up for a highly anticipated livestream that ended with literal fireworks. The stream had fans eagerly tuned in. However, that excitement quickly turned to concern when Davis, a fellow streamer and friend of Kai, set off fireworks inside what many initially thought was Kai’s room.
As the room appeared to catch fire, the 22-year-old Cenat took to X, formerly known as Twitter, expressing his frustration: “I am done with all this s**t.” However, many viewers later started to dissect the room and suspect that the burning room was not actually Cenat’s but rather a set designed for the prank.
@mrbeast Happy 4th of July😂
They were right. MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, later revealed on TikTok that the entire scene was a meticulously planned prank. He shared behind-the-scenes clips showing how they recreated Cenat’s streaming room in the middle of a field, complete with all his decorations and streaming setup. Kai later shared a video on YouTube titled “How I Tricked the Internet,” showing behind-the-scenes footage of how they pulled off the prank, which many on the internet are still calling irresponsible.
