On Thursday we reported the unfortunate incident that occurred when Seahawks Kam Chancellor to a newly closed down athletic club to inquire about purchasing it. Unfortunately the female employees mistook him for a criminal and called 911.
Now audio from the 911 call has been released. The female employee calls 911, claiming there are 5 people (both male and female) outside the gym. “They’re trying to get in and we’ve told them multiple times that they need to leave. There’s five of them. They’re kinda like, pounding the doors, trying to break in.”
The caller was then asked for a description of the five men. “There’s like 5 of them. Three black and two white. I can’t see any weapons but they have like, cameras, taking pictures. I’m really not sure what they’re trying to do here.”
The caller goes on to say that Kam and his crew had been there for ten minutes and when asked again by the 911 dispatcher why she thinks they are there, she says nervously, “Can you just send someone please? I don’t know what’s coming next. They’re bad news.”
She remains on the phone as the 911 dispatcher continues to ask questions. At one point she says, “I don’t know if they’re homeless kids … I know there used to be a lot of heroin addicts around here.”
