Kamala Harris is getting her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds, marking the first time a Vice President will be featured.
It’s tradition for the wax museum to feature each U.S. president. Madame Tussauds announced that Biden would get his own figure following his Presidential win. But on Wednesday, Madame Tussauds New York revealed that Vice President Harris would also get her own clay-headed sculpture.
According to the museum, it took about six weeks for the figures to be sculpted. It will take another four to six months for them to be completed. Both figurines will be sporting their Inauguration Day outfits: Biden will rock a midnight blue Ralph Lauren suit, and Harris will be dressed in a purple coat, dress, gold and pearl necklace, and pearl earrings.
The wax figures are expected to make their debut later this year.
Harris continues to make history. She is the first woman elected Vice President, the first Black and Asian American to be elected VP, and now the first to be displayed at Madame Tussauds.
