Kandi Burruss may no longer be on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but she’s definitely keeping up with the drama surrounding Kenya Moore.
The Xscape star recently joined Yung Joc and the crew on Streetz Morning Takeover, where she discussed Moore’s alleged suspension. Multiple reports claim that the hair salon owner was removed from season sixteen’s production after sharing explicit photos of “RHOA” newcomer Brittany Eady during her salon’s grand opening. Some have accused Moore of practicing revenge porn, which she has vehemently denied. Burruss believes the punishment is too harsh, especially if the images were already available online.
“I don’t like the fact that they suspended Kenya. I know a lot of people were like, ‘She shouldn’t have shown that,’ but this is ‘Housewives.’ How many times have we done something people think we shouldn’t do? So, who made the rules?” Burruss questioned.
Burruss also noted that Eady initiated the conflict with Moore first, and therefore, the real estate entrepreneur cannot dictate how Moore responded. The two women have been at odds since Eady was announced as a new cast member, with rumors that she threatened Moore with a gun, which she denied. Burruss believes that despite the pre-premiere drama, Moore is still needed on the series to keep things interesting.
Bravo has not confirmed whether Moore was actually suspended. However, the former Miss USA has denied that she was removed from the show.
