Kandi Burruss has broken her silence regarding rumors that Sheree Whitfield would be returning to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
During a recent sit-down with the “Housewives Nightcap” segment of “Access Hollywood,” Burruss, who has been a cast member since RHOA’s second season, said that she was here for Whitfield returning.
Whitfield was an original cast member of the reality television franchise. She remained a housewife through season four, documenting her entrepreneurial endeavors and tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband, former NFL pro Bob Whitfield. The “She by Sheree” creator returned to the show in season eight, but only as a part-time cast member. She returned to her full-time position in seasons nine and ten but left once again in 2018. Now, it appears that the 51-year-old is ready to make her return.
Just a week ago, rumors swirled that Whitfield was down to showcase her lavish “Chateau” yet again, but only if she could be returned to full-time status. This year, Whitfield’s boo, Tyrone Gilliams, was released from prison after serving eight years for fraud. Their reunion may explain her return and offer a new storyline for the mother-of-three.
Nevertheless, whatever Whitfield brings to the show next season if the rumors are true, Burruss says that her fellow housewife is “always good TV.”
“She’s had some very explosive moments in some of these past seasons. So, I’m here for it, honestly. If they decide that they want Sheree to come back, I’m here for it.”
The current cast members include Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Drew Sidora, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, with Marlo Hampton, LaToya Ali, Falynn Guobadia, and Shamea Morton being friends of the show.
