When the dust settles, and it’s all said and done, mouths ran, bets were made, and there were many who counted the Kansas City Chiefs out, but the comeback was EPIC!
The Kansas City Chiefs officially made history. Reportedly, winning their first Super Bowl in 50 years, and it all took place in Miami Gardens, Florida, at the Hard Rock Stadium.
The Chiefs made an amazing comeback from a 10-point lag in the fourth quarter; which brought the NFL Championship back home to KC. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes grew Red Bull wings as he flew into the fourth quarter with unmatched energy and an undeniable focal point: VICTORY!
With this Super Bowl, 54 win comes many first, as Mahomes was named MVP, and is the youngest MVP in Super Bowl history. This win also gifted veteran coach Andy Reid with his first Super Bowl win ever, and to add to first, the Chiefs became the first team in NFL history to be down by double digits in three different games and still make a victorious comeback.
One could only imagine the level of victory felt, and the endless smiles on these players’ faces as they look back on each play by play of Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Memories were made that none of us will ever forget.
Congrats to Kansas City!
