Kansas City, Mo. Rapper Tech N9ne Breaks Record for Most Top 10s on Billboard’s Rap Album Charts

Kansas City, Missouri rapper #TechN9ne has broken the record for the most top 10 albums by any artist on Billboard’s 14-year-old Top Rap Album’s chart.

The album that sealed the record-breaking deal was his 19th, ‘Planet,’ which debuted at No. 7, according to Billboard. The accomplishment has taken the “O.G.” rapper beyond the likes of #E-40 and #GucciMane, who both have 18 top 10 albums.

According to Nielsen Music, ‘Planet’ debuted with 21,000 equivalent album units that were earned at the end of the weekend of March 8.
