Source Says Kanye West Likes New Boo Because She’s ‘Laid Back’ And Respected In The Fashion Industy; Says West Made First Move

Kanye West reportedly made the first move on Irina Shayk. Sources say the rapper loves that she’s “laid back.”

They say the way to get over someone is to get up under someone else. And it appears that may be the route Ye is taking following his split from Kim Kardashian West. Sources say he was the first person to let it be known that he was interested in Shayk. 

“They’ve been dating for a couple of months now, from talking to meeting and now taking a trip for his birthday. Kanye loves that Irina is very easygoing and a laid-back person to be with,” a source told Us Weekly. The source added that he was “the first one to reach out.”

The source also mentioned that West loves that Shayk, 35, is well respected in the fashion community as a model. “Kanye also loves that Irina is an established and respected model in the fashion community. He loves that she carries clout with the fashion world,” said the insider. “He thinks they could be a very chic power couple.”

In addition, a source confirmed that the two are, in fact, “dating.” “Kanye and Irina [are] dating,” the source exclusively told Us earlier this month. “They’ve been quietly seeing each other for a couple of months.”
