During part two of his now-famous “Drink Champs” interview, Kanye West responds to people who call him “crazy.”
The continuation episode, which aired Thursday, finds Ye detailing how he was ultimately diagnosed with bipolar disorder during his highly-publicized relationship with model Amber Rose.
“When I slammed that paparazzi that day, they made me go to anger management. That was the beginning of my medication. That was the snowball that eventually had me diagnosed as bipolar,” the “Mercy” rapper revealed to hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN.
He went on to add that critics only refer to him as “crazy” to “hide the truth.” The sneaker mogul believes that when people disagree with his views, they place the label on him. Ye says this was the case during his controversial 2020 presidential campaign.
“Oh, you ain’t voting for Kamala, you ain’t voting for Biden, you crazy. Oh, you running for president, you crazy,” he said, mocking those who disapproved of his eccentric election efforts, which was marked by a bizarre rally filled with absurd rambling and a teary-eyed breakdown.
Despite the chatter regarding his mental health, Yeezy says he’s “9 billi crazy up out here” and proclaims that no one can stop him at this point.
