Kanye West is responding to the Swifties on Instagram after sharing a screenshot where a fan urged others to support Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” over Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign’s “Vultures 1” on the Billboard Hot 100.
“When I said that I’m the new Jesus bitch, I wasn’t even thinking about Taylor Swift,” Kanye wrote in all caps. “That was a whole line before, but I appreciate the free promo.”
Ye told Taylor Swift fans that he was neither their enemy nor friend.
He insisted that he supported Taylor after her catalog was acquired by Scooter Braun, saying I’ve “been far more helpful to Taylor Swift’s career than harmful,” and admitted that “she and Beyoncé are big inspirations to all musicians.”
He added that Lil Wayne “actually mentions Travis Kelsey [sic] on Vultures 2.”
Also, in his post, Kanye refuted Brandon Marshall’s rumor, calling it “completely fabricated” and emphasizing it as “not true.” He clarified that he and his wife walked around the stadium for her first Super Bowl, eventually joining YG’s suite, where Kanye noted, “We had such a fun day.”
