Kanye West Addresses The Criticism On How His Latest Yeezy Gap Collection Being Sold: “I’m An Innovator”

Kanye West addresses his latest Yeezy Gap collection, which fans say appears to be sold out of large trash bags.

Kanye recently spoke with Fox News about his interesting Yeezy Gap collection. The fashion designer/rapper received some backlash on how he’s selling the collection from confused consumers.

However, Kanye defended his choice and said the clothes are being sold in black construction bags. According to the L.A. Times, Kanye gained inspiration for the line from “children” and “the homeless.”

During the interview, Kanye explained that he isn’t mocking the homeless but “hopes to challenge the conventional trappings of fashion with more egalitarian clothing.”

“Look, man, I’m an innovator, and I’m not here to sit up and apologize about my ideas,” Kanye says. “That’s exactly what the media tries to do. Make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under exactly the way they want us to think.”

He continued, “This is like not a joke, this is not a game, this is not just some celebrity collaboration, this is my life. I’m fighting for a position to be able to change clothing and bring the best design to the people.”
