Kanye West Attacks Mother of George Floyd’s Daughter On Instagram

Shortly after taking accountability for his controversial George Floyd comments, Kanye West is now attacking Floyd’s family. 

On Sunday, Ye posted a letter aimed at the mother of Floyd’s daughter, Roxie Washington, to his Instagram page.

“Now for Roxie Washington and Roxie Washington ALONE,” he starts the letter. “I gave 2 million dollars out of my pocket for the family. To help George’s daughter…Your daughter!”

“I can guarantee that most of those that came for me after my comments didn’t do what I did! Even those with millions of dollars in the bank!” he writes. “How much did BLM give???? Many gave words. I ACTED.”

He brings up the $250 million lawsuit Washington is bringing against him, questioning why she is suing him while he’s going through what he calls “an economic lynching” and “a digital lynching.”

“But You better get you some business…4 GOD get mad,” Ye continues. “This is how you try someone who was there for your family???? You will never get money from no one else. GOD don’t like ugly.”

He proceeds to mock her fashion sense by making fun of a hat she is wearing in the picture he used to accompany his post. After addressing Washington, he closes the letter with a message to Floyd’s family.

“To the Floyd family: I apologized to you and the black community for my comments on Drink Champs. Humbly,” Ye says to the family. “Now Come get Roxie before she mess up all y’all money.” 

Washington is suing Ye for defamation over his comments about Floyd’s death during a Drink Champs interview. The rapper stated that Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose instead of asphyxiation.
