Forbes‘ latest billionaire list has arrived, and some of the biggest names in entertainment are among the world’s wealthiest. Unfortunately, Kanye West is nowhere to be found after losing his Adidas deal.
Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, has amassed massive success following the launch of her SKIMS line in 2019, which is worth an estimated $3.2 billion. She also founded KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance in 2017, as well as a successful reality television career. Partnerships with brands such as Balenciaga also contribute to her portfolio. West has not been on the list since his lucrative Yeezy deal fell through following controversial anti-semitic comments.
Elsewhere on the list is Jay-Z, who has maintained his position as hip-hop’s richest for several years now. This can be attributed to his Roc Nation imprint and other business ventures. His net worth is reportedly $2.5 billion, and his protege, Rihanna, is right behind him as her empire continues to expand.
Through her Fenty brand, which includes skincare and lingerie, Rih has amassed an estimated $1.4 billion. That could skyrocket in the near future as she recently filed a trademark for Fenty Kids. The children’s leg of her company is said to feature clothing and accessories.
Other notable figures on the annual billionaire list are Elon Musk, with an estimated $180 billion; Jeff Bezos, at $114 billion; and Bill Gates, with $104 billion. The three men are among the top ten wealthiest people in the world.
