Following his grey-contact and reflective jacket appearance at the Met-Gala, Kanye West appeared on Steve Harvey’s radio show to discuss a possible tour and address his prior beef with Wiz Khalifa.
Mr. West confirms a soon-to-be tour for The Life of Pablo, “You know my tour game is strong,” he said. “My tour game is unprecedented. So we’re going to go out in September, I believe, and we’re just working on some of the ideas right now. But as I said before, I’m trying to literally inspire these kids the way Disney inspired me when I saw the original Star Wars.”
On the topic of Wiz Khalifa and their past feud, Kanye said, “You know how you would feel if someone was talking about your wife. Did I take it too far? You know what? I’m from 79th Street Chicago … I can’t say that if someone says ‘F you,’ I can’t say I’m not gonna say the exact same thing back”.
In true Kanye fashion, he then switches and seems apologetic about his treatment of Wiz as it pertains to he and Amber’s son Sebastian, who he disrespected during a twitter rant on multiple occasions.
“I really want to stress the amount of respect that I have for parents. There is no concept of anyone beating up on someone else’s child or that type of concept,” he said. “ So everyday I feel more deeply deeply apologetic about that concept, because I only want to put out positive concepts,” he said.
As of yet, we only have a window for The Life of Pablo tour. Stay tuned for further details as they are released, including a definitive date.
