Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour has been one for the books, but unfortunately for fans who attended the rapper’s sixth and final show at The Forum in Inglewood Thursday night, they didn’t get the full experience.
Kanye was performing “Only One,” the song dedicated to his daughter North and his later mother, Donda. As the performance reached an end, Kanye asked the house lights to be turned on so that he could make an announcement. “My voice is so hoarse,” West said. “I can’t finish the show…I can’t let y’all have a show where I can’t perform for you.”
Initially the crowd began to boo before chanting Kanye’s name. “I’m very sorry. I love you,” he said. “I’ll give everyone a refund. I’ll do better next time.” He then cancelled the remainder of the show.
Kanye West performed for roughly 45 minutes before ending abruptly.
In mid-October Kanye West decided to extended his tour 21 more days, ending New Years Eve in Brooklyn. As far as refunds or a make-up-show, we’ll be awaiting a statement from Live Nation.
The Saint Pablo Tour is scheduled to resume on Thursday, November 17 in San Jose. This should give Yeezy plenty of time to rest up and get back in tip top shape.
