Kanye West has made a huge donation to support the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.
According to CNN, $2 million donation is reportedly for the funding of legal fees for Arbery and Taylor’s families, along with giving support to black-owned businesses that are struggling in his hometown of Chicago, and other cities.
West has also arranged a 529 education plan to cover the full cost of Gianna Floyd’s college tuition, who is the 6-year-old daughter of the late George Floyd.
West donating to the families of Floyd, Arbery, and Taylor, who were killed unjustifiably, is needed right now during these times of mass protests across the country demanding change. Many celebrities are using their voice to call for an end to police brutality, systematic racism, and action from political leaders.
