Model Jenn An, known for her appearance on cycle 13 of “America’s Next Top Model,” has filed a federal lawsuit against Kanye West, TMZ reports. The suit alleges that during a 2010 music video shoot for the remix of La Roux’s “In For the Kill,” West engaged in violent and inappropriate behavior that left An traumatized.

According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred at New York City’s Chelsea Hotel. An claims that West selected her from a lineup, stating, “Give me the Asian girl,” and directed her to wear revealing lingerie. During the shoot, West allegedly instructed the director to focus the camera on An before proceeding to strangle her with both hands. The suit further alleges that West “smothered” her face and forcibly inserted his fingers into her mouth, emulating forced oral sex. An describes the experience as lasting over a minute and felt more akin to “pornographic gagging/deep throat/BDSM fetishes” than a music video production.

Throughout the ordeal, West reportedly exclaimed, “This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso.” An asserts that the scene was both humiliating and dangerous, leading her to seek legal action against West and Universal Music Group for gender-motivated violence.

Notably, the controversial scene did not appear in the final edit of the music video. An alleges that the record label and other industry figures attempted to “bury” the incident to protect West’s reputation.

As of now, representatives for Kanye West and Universal Music Group have not publicly responded to the allegations.
