Kanye “always stay busy” West is a man with many business ideas. The rapper has never had a problem with stepping out of the box and creating art. In fact, he has made an entire career around being different. We’ve seen him go from music to fashion and, just recently, technology.
On September 21st, Kanye’s company allegedly filed an application to trademark the name “Donda” for a new upcoming tech line. The rapper-turned-designer has plans on slapping the name on a slew of digital products such as tablets, speakers, smart watches and other various wearable technology.
The business savvy entrepreneur may have plans to take the “Donda” name pretty far. If Ye gets his way, there could be “Donda” downloadable publications such as books and magazines in the future.
The news of Kayne’s recent filing comes after he filed to have his name on various houseware products. Legal documents specified that the line would include towels, shower curtains, blankets, placemats and textile wall hangings.
Could “Donda” possibly replace Apple in the future?
