Kanye West may be finished with his social media antics and cyberbullying.
According to Page Six, a source close to the rapper says Kanye told Kim Kardashian that’s he’s planning to “go away to get help.” The source adds that Kanye has agreed to stop harassing Kim and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, on Instagram.
“For the sake of the kids. Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements,” the source says. “He will go away somewhere to get better.”
Throughout the past months, Kanye has been pretty reckless on social media. The rapper publicly antagonized Kim claiming that she would not let him see their four children and accused him of “putting a hit out on her.”
Kanye also took jabs at Pete Davidson, who began dating Kim shortly after her split with Kanye. The ‘Donda’ rapper repeatedly bashed Pete with unpleasant jokes. In a song featuring The Game, Kanye threatened to “beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” He even went as far as creating a claymation video burying Pete alive and carrying his severed head.
Kanye later defended the video saying, “Art is therapy just like this view. Art is protected as freedom of speech.”
It’s not clear if Kanye will be receiving help from a mental health facility. However, the outlet says he’s “committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim. And is focus on raising their beautiful children.”
