Over the past few days, Kanye’s extreme and erratic behavior has left many concerned, including his wife Kim Kardashian, who he’s refusing to see, TMZ reports.
The 43-year-old Yeezy shoe mogul and hitmaker appears to be experiencing a bipolar episode. Speculations started after Ye wept on stage during his bizarre appearance at his South Carolina presidential bid rally. While there, he revealed a shocking claim that he and Kim had considered abortion prior to the birth of their first child, North. But it didn’t stop there; he later went on Twitter to let off a string of tweets regarding personal family matters, including the fact that he was “trying to get divorced” after Kim met with Meek Mill.
Now, according to reports, there has been very little communication between the two this week.
Sources told TMZ that the Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star has made attempts to reach him to discuss his mental state, but Kanye is “not receptive” and has turned down her request to visit him at their Wyoming ranch.
Apparently, Kim, 39, has been concerned about his mental state for some time now.
In the earlier part of July, she joined him in the Dominican Republic due to her concerns but had to leave to go back to their four children, North,7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2 and Psalms, 1. It was after that that Kanye traveled to South Carolina for his rally, and things went left.
Kanye’s controversial tweets have since been deleted.
Sources allege that Kim and Kanye are already “living apart” and have been at each other’s throats’ with “daily bust-ups’” during quarantine, which may be the reason for Kanye’s shocking divorce claim.
Kim broke her silence earlier this week via social media and detailed how she felt “powerless” and addressed the fact that Kanye has to want help in order to receive it.
“As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand…I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health…Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor…People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.”
Let us continue to pray for Ye.
